In keeping with their principles that small towns need live music as much, if not more than, major cities, JP Harris & Chance McCoy have added two special shows to their July tour; Weds. July 26th takes the duo to Brattleboro VT, JP’s adopted hometown of over a decade, to play The Stone Church. On Thurs. July 27th, the pair makes a northward haul to play the community-supported venue of 58 Main, in Maine’s state capitol of Bangor. Advance tickets for both shows highly recommended, on sale July 1st.
And if you missed your chance to get Newport Folk festival tickets before they sold out, tickets are still available for “Spirit of ’67” presented by Newport Festivals Foundation and Wildwood revival. This event is an all-star night at Belle Mer on Goat Island in Newport’s harbor, featuring JP & Chance alongside Aaron Lee Tasjan, Erika Wennestrom (Heartless Bastards), Rayland Baxter, and many more paying homage to the artists who filled the roster of Newport ’67.
