Though intentionally scheduling a light year (the first in many), JP Harris will be making some select US appearances over the spring and summer, both with his full backing band and a few special side projects.

March includes a quick jaunt to Knoxville TN (3/4), and a very special writer’s round with pal Chance McCoy (of Old Crow Medicine Show) at ACME Feed & Seed in Nashville on 3/28, presented by Wrangler Jeans.

On April 10th, JP teams up again with Wildwood Revival and the Americana Music Association to present the first annual “Ensemblé Dans Ce Bateau,” a unique Cajun supper-and-song event featuring the food of native Acadian chef Effie Michot, and the musical stylings of Grammy-winning, Louisiana native Joel Savoy & friends. Other guest musicians include Langhorne Slim, The Watson Twins, and  Sam Doores + Riley Downing of The Deslondes. The event takes place at The Cordelle, a beautiful Victorian home lovingly restored and converted by Chandra and Leigh Watson. Tickets are limited to 100 and available here.

And to truly ring in the summer season, JP’s first festival appearance of 2016 will be at the 3rd Annual Smokey Mountain Chopperfest in Franklin, NC, held May 27-28. Stay tuned for for more US and European summer festival and tour announcements…
