The air is thick with summer heat, and the highway’s calling again…JP and the band head out for limited appearances in the south and northeast this July, with stops in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The main attraction on the tour is a unique and first-time appearance by the band at Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival’s Culture Camp, where they will be both performing and teaching various workshops on traditional playing, singing, and songwriting alongside some of the US’ top traditional musicians. Save a few southeastern shows in August, these will be the only US summer dates for live performances; advance tickets recommended.
In November,at the request of many and to the excitement of the growing European fanbase, JP and the gang will return for nearly a month of dates in Netherlands and Germany, as well as the first return trip to the UK since 2015; as always, the full all-American band will be blowing the doors off of clubs across the old country, delivering the high-octane honky tonk JP has gained a reputation for worldwide. Opening many dates will be Nashville’s Miss Tess duo.
